Ranjan Lal – Investment Committee Member, Synetro Capital

Ranjan Lal has over nine years of investment experience in addition to a strong background in management consulting.

Prior to founding Mosaix Ventures LP in 2000, Ranjan served as Managing Director and General Partner with Vector Fund Management LP, a late-stage healthcare fund with over $240 million under management, as well as Director with UBS-O'Connor LLC, a US equity hedge fund. Mr. Lal also has significant non-investment experience, including five years in management consulting with McKinsey & Company and two years in project management with DuPont.

Mr. Lal received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee) and the Pennsylvania State University respectively. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Lal serves on the Board of Directors of several private companies and non-for-profit organizations.
